Leading with Compassion Workshop series is a comprehensive program designed to help build Leadership capacity in the American Muslim community.

Leading with Compassion Workshop series is the flagship program of the center. Participants are provided with training tailored to meet the needs of the North American Muslim community, with a comprehensive package that includes a resource book, work book, case studies, and exercises designed to help participants master concepts and learned skills.

Leading with Compassion Workshop offers leadership development, communication, conflict resolution, strategic planning, team building, project management, and other workshops geared at developing leadership attitude and skills.

The training is both practical and comprehensive, and participants are given the option of taking additional online courses for in depth understanding and growth.

Leading with Compassion workshop series is designed to help imams, educators, community leaders, and volunteers acquire cutting-edge knowledge and skills that will enable them to organize their communities effectively and with the best Islamic traditions. By the end of the training, participants will be able to communicate effectively, deal confidently with conflict, develop strategic plans and the practical knowledge and skills they need for implementation. Participants will also learn what it takes to inspire others to get involved in community life, and to reach out to the public and meet the many challenges facing the American Muslim community.

ILDC professionals will work with community leaders to assess local needs and develop a workshop specifically designed to meet local situations.
